This summer, Kpop world will be filled with girl groups. With the group WonderGirls going on with their plans to advance into the American market, coming June-July we are set to see other representative girl groups in action. Many also call this the ‘war of the girl groups’ this year.

1. So Nyeo Shi Dae is currently working on a new album, after causing the ‘Gee’ craze. They will comeback this summer, currently the rest of the group is into their own activities like DJ, MC, filming CF and drama.
2. After hits like ‘Pretty Girl’ and ‘Honey’, KARA will also release a new album this July. They were chosen as the top 3 representative girl group in Korea, and currently they are already into recording for the album.
3. Brown Eyed Girls will be releasing a new album between end-June and beginning July. The recording for the album has been said to have completed.
4. New group 2NE1 currently promoting their debut song ‘Fire’ will also be releasing a new minialbum.
5. Ex-WonderGirl HyunA will also be debut in the group 4Minute after 2 years, set to release debut minialbum end-June to beginning of July.
6. T-ara, formed by members like ‘2nd Kim TaeHee‘ JiYeon, will be releasing their debut album this summer. They are looking for one more member currently to make it 5 members.
